Begin by making a list of everything you need to get done today. Before each item on your list, write an A, B, C, D, or E:
Tasks marked with an “A” have the greatest priority. The frogs that have the greatest value in your life. If you have more than one “A” job, write A-1, A-2, A-3, and so on to rank them. Your A-1 assignment is the largest frog of them all.
Tasks marked with a “B” should be completed. Tadpoles are what these are. “C” denotes jobs that would be enjoyable to complete.
Tasks marked with a “D” can be delegated. Delegate if others can do it to free up time for the “A” duties that only you can perform. Delegate if others can do it to free up time for the “A” chores that only you can accomplish. “E” duties can be eliminated. They were once significant, but they are no longer relevant to you or anybody else.
Discipline yourself to begin working on your “A-1” assignment right away and finish it as soon as possible. Eat the entire frog and do not stop until it is fully gone.
